Custom Song Medley — Production Brief For a 60th birthday celebration. Backing track for live group singing. Project summary I need a custom medley/mashup of 14 well-known songs, all containing 'love' in the chorus or title. The medley will serve as a backing track while a group of 12 guests sing live over it. Important: I want the original vocals included but mixed LOW in the background, so they serve as a guide track for our singers — not a pure instrumental. The track must be tight, energetic, and built for live sing-along. Delivery • Format: One single MP3 file, 320 kbps. • Length: Approximately 3:00–3:30 minutes total. • Deadline: Friday 22 May 2026. • Bonus if possible: Send the project file / stems as backup. Critical requirements • Include the original vocals, but MIXED LOW IN THE BACKGROUND as a guide track for our live singers. This is critical — pure instrumental is NOT what we want. The vocals should be audible enough to help a group of 12 amateur singers stay on melody and timing, but quiet enough that our live voices clearly dominate. Suggested level: original vocals at roughly 20–30% of normal volume, instrumental at full level. • If a clean studio version with separated stems is not available, use a high-quality karaoke version and mix in the original vocal at a low level — or use any other method that produces the same result: a guide vocal sitting quietly under a full instrumental. • Each song segment should be 10–12 seconds long: long enough for 1–2 lines of vocals plus a beat of space. • Smooth crossfades between songs (1–2 seconds). No abrupt cuts. • Match keys where possible to avoid jarring transitions. Pitch-shift if needed. • Keep the tempo energetic throughout — this is a celebration, not a slow ballad medley. • Each song must be instantly recognizable from the first beat. Song order and target lyric line Each segment should focus on the line shown — that is what the guests will sing along to. 1. Love Me Do — The Beatles → "Love, love me do, you know I love you" 2. Love Me Tender — Elvis Presley → "Love me tender, love me sweet, never let me go" 3. Stop! In the Name of Love — The Supremes → "Stop! In the name of love, before you break my heart" 4. Love Is in the Air — John Paul Young → "Love is in the air, everywhere I look around" 5. Addicted to Love — Robert Palmer → "Might as well face it, you're addicted to love" 6. I Will Always Love You — Whitney Houston (Dolly Parton version OK) → "And I-I-I-I will always love you" 7. What's Love Got to Do with It — Tina Turner → "What's love got to do, got to do with it" 8. Love in Sibirien — Laban (Danish 80s pop classic) → "Det er love in Sibirien, det er love mellem dig og mig" 9. The Power of Love — Huey Lewis & The News → "That's the power of love" 10. Crazy Little Thing Called Love — Queen → "This thing called love, I just can't handle it" 11. Love Is a Battlefield — Pat Benatar → "No promises, no demands — love is a battlefield" 12. All You Need Is Love — The Beatles → "All you need is love, love is all you need" 13. Love Is All Around — Wet Wet Wet → "I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes, love is all around me, and so the feeling grows" 14. I Want to Know What Love Is — Foreigner (FINALE) → "I wanna know what love is, I want you to show me" — repeat chorus once for impact Finale — extra attention • Song #13 (Wet Wet Wet) is the BUILD-UP. • Song #14 (Foreigner) is the BIG FINALE — make the transition between these two especially dramatic. • Suggested approach: let Wet Wet Wet's energy build, then a brief drop / 1-second silence or cymbal swell, then Foreigner kicks in full force. • Let the Foreigner segment run a bit longer than the others — 20–25 seconds — so the chorus can repeat once and the crowd can join in. • End on a held final chord or applause-ready high note. Do not fade out abruptly. Vibe / reference Think wedding DJ medley energy: punchy, recognizable, no dead air. Like a karaoke megamix made by a pro. Reference points: Jive Bunny medleys, wedding mashup compilations, or any well-produced karaoke party mix. Notes for the producer • If keys clash badly between two adjacent songs, prioritize energy over perfect key-matching — but flag it to me. • Please include one free revision round in the order so I can request small adjustments to transitions or vocal levels. • If anything is unclear, please ask BEFORE starting — I'd rather answer questions than receive a final mix that needs rebuilding. Hi Jesper, Thank you for the detailed brief. I understand the concept clearly and can create the medley exactly in the style you described. I’ll produce a professional 3:00 - 3:30 party medley with smooth transitions, energetic pacing, and low - level original guide vocals so your group can sing comfortably over the track. Each section will be clean, recognizable, and arranged for live sing-along performance, with special attention to the final Foreigner ending. Deliverables: • 320 kbps MP3 file • Smooth crossfades and tempo/key matching • One free revision round • Bonus stems/project files. I can work toward the 22 May 2026 deadline and share a draft before final delivery. Looking forward to working with you. Best regards, Jagadheesh
