I would like to simulate the flight path of up to three flies in a cylinder. The fly should should be moving realistically in a manner similar to real flies - i.e. in circular movements within the volume of the cylinder.
It must never touch the walls or ceiling/floor of the cylinder and the movements should vary in speed and and direction similar to a real fly. The number of flies should be variable (1-3). They should never collide.
Additionally, there will be another object within the cylinder which will roughly take up 20% of the availble volume and with this object the flies also are not allowed to connect. They will be flying around it.
For the sake of simplicity, a cylinder containing a small box/cube will do just fine. The fly can be represented by any small proxy object, e.g. another cube.
The coding should be done in XCode using Objective C and Scenekit.
The attachment lines out more details and which variables should be possible to change. I have attached a very simple basic XCode project to illustrate the point further.
