I'm looking for a developer with Amazon Web Service & Swift 3 skills to help finish a project that another developer could not complete for me. Project is very simple and can easily be pulled from my git repo. I'm a developer also on the project but not sure what to do in regards to the following issues below.
When there is no internet connection or very slow internet connection I need my current upload queue to trigger failed status on the items correctly and display those in the tableView for the section uploads.
The code is already done to display in the tableView and organize it by successful or failed sections and color red or green based on the status. I even have the code complete to retry the image if it failed but some odd UI experiences are occurring that would need to be resolved.
Current Issues Are:
1.) When an upload fails it is currently setting upload status incorrectly to some items that didn't actually fail.
2.) When the item does fail it doesn't try to upload the other items on the list (and therefore have their statuses go to fail).
For this project to be complete you would need to test across these network conditions ([url removed, login to view]), and ensure that when it fails it updates the uploads table correctly for the items.
Furthermore ensure that retry buttons for items that failed correctly uploads again and displays correct progress. Right now it creates an entirely new upload item leaving the failed one behind. It should use the failed item in the upload queue (or erase that item at least, either way achieves the end goal for user experience).
I'm looking for someone with common sense that does not follow orders exactly since you will need some open thinking to do this project if you see room for improvement. IF I approve said improvements we can negotiate extra pay or bonuses for said improvements.
Looking forward to long term relationship with a good developer to assist me on projects. Benefits of working with me is I can share my actually iPhone screen to demo your development and can help you debug issues as well.
