Simple Iphone App - Basic User and User Group Interaction

Mobile App Overview

All users must register/sign in via Facebook.

Information Collected from User

This information should be organized in MySQL database.

• UID (Unique Facebook/User Identification Number)

• First Name

• Last Name

• Email

• Gender

• Current Location (City, State)

Main Feature

The main feature of the app is allowing a user to switch their user status on the app as either ‘Option 1’ or ‘Option 2’.

This status will be controlled on the home screen of the app through the Radio/Checkbox Switch. ([login to view URL])

User should be able to create up to 3 groups.

Users can add up to 10 of their Facebook friends who have signed up through the app to each of the groups.

The app should display each group individually, with the group members and their current ‘Option 1’ or ‘Option 2’ status displayed.

There should be a feature to Invite Friends, which allows a user to send an invitation to join the app to any of their Facebook friends not currently signed up.

There needs to be a Friend Verification system, which alerts the user when a friend wants to add them to his/her group.

Primary Feature: Switch to set user status as ‘Option 1’ or ‘Option 2’

Displays user’s Current Location, retrieved from Facebook Connect.

Groups

Displays the user’s current group titles.

If a user doesn’t have 3 groups, it displays the option to add a group.

Each titles links to a new page that displays all members of the group with their current status of ‘Option 1’ or ‘Option 2’.

If a user doesn’t have 10 friends in the group, it displays the option to add a Facebook friend who has signed up for the app as a member of the group.

Friends

A list of all Facebook Friends using the app, with a check mark next to them if they are currently in one of the user’s groups.

At the top of this list, should be a list section labeled “Requests” that displays the friends who have requested to add the user to one of their groups. There should be an option to Accept or Ignore the request.

Upon acceptance, the user will be added to the friend’s designated group.

When user selects a friend from the list who is not currently assigned a group, user is able to add friend to one of his groups.

When a user selects a friend from the list who is currently assigned to a group, user is able to see the friend’s status and assigned group.

**It is important that those friends who have not been added to a group do not have their current status of ‘Option 1’ or ‘Option 2’ displayed for the user to see.

• Users should only ever be able to see their friends status if they are assigned to one of the user’s group.

There should be a notification on menu icon when a friend is requesting the user approve the friend’s request to add him to his/her group.

Invite

Populates a list of all Facebook Friends currently not using the app.

If the user selects a Facebook Friend, it will prompt an invite to that user’s phone, Facebook, and email.

It would be nice if you can also do Android apps because I would like that to be developed next.
