This is a simple, proof-of-concept app that needs to scan a QR code, connect to a secure website, retrieve some data from a MySQL table, return that data to the app for display on a very simple user interface. As this is just the beta version, graphics will be minimal, and the data set returned will be no more than ten items.
The data screen will include a Data Title, a physical address, a hidden unique ID, and two columns of data - description left and quantity right. After retrieving the data the user must be allowed to save that data on the device.
The user must then be able to select another named data set on the same server via a select box - no more than ten sets in this beta version.
It is desired that the app allow the user to see a map of nearby data-set addresses (initially a 10-mile radius from the user's present geo-location) by selecting a MAP button in the nav bar.
The user must be allowed to email the data set by clicking the familiar iPhone icon.
Other common-sense navigation, such as Back, Home, About, etc, should be included at the designer's discretion.
A graphical mockup will be provided upon request, as well as up to ten sample data sets. A test server will also be provided with a database holding the sample data sets.
