The thing I'd watch most in your notes is the structure, honestly. Handwritten hierarchy is subtle — a slightly bigger heading, an indent that means "sub-point" — and it's easy to flatten. So I map the hierarchy first (H1, H2, bullets, numbered) before typing a word, then everything drops into real Word styles. You'll get a navigation pane that actually works and lists that continue properly. Proof-read is names, numbers and technical terms against the page, one by one, because those are where a wrong guess costs you. Anything I genuinely can't read, I mark in yellow with a comment rather than inventing it. Quick question: roughly how many pages, and is it one person's handwriting throughout?
