We are looking partner Freelancer to develop MACRO/VBA Code Button to use in MS ACCESS TABLES to rename and move files into a target folder about attachments existing inside MS ACCESS table,
We would like to have a VBA OR MACRO OR ADDINS solution
when we save our MS access tables,
the documents enclosed in attachment column of that Access table will be copied into a new directory folder with their new names generated automatically.
Documents will be saved by auto-naming such a name-string generated from values of table fields...
Following points will be important when the VBA/MACRO/ADDINS developing by freelancer,
1- Document attach steps will be as usual in MS ACCESS without any change,
one column in table will be attachment column and The attachments might be search and selected from anywhere on PC through pop-up file explorer as usual in Access, The freelancer's code start after that.....
2- all the attached files/documents existing in table will save in a folder set by USER, one Directory's foldet for one table.
Thus every table will have it's own Documents Folder in local drive carrying documents renamed by table values.
3- In every MS ACCESS session user might change or not change target Folder where table files saved,
Thus user, might create a querry table and save that filtered new table or create a new shorter table's which the attachments will be available belong another Folder basis on new table criterions.
4- In each table attachment's auto-name-string generation method would be set by User such about selection of columns. which field's value will be used at which order, in a name string generation.
Thus user will be flexible to select different field's to be used in different order for different tables,
Table A might use field's of [login to view URL] as name while Table B might use [login to view URL] as name at the time of auto-generating file names.
5- Files re-name operation in the table will not be valid only for new added rows and leave older ones,
That rename operation must be valid for older rows for the total of table,
Thus if any change made in older values of some fields in the table, those will be reflected and corrected on attachments' name string too...
