i’ve done very similar recently, fixing SharePoint Online access and OneDrive sync issues on macOS in Microsoft 365 tenants. Is the user licensed correctly (SharePoint/OneDrive enabled) and added via M365 group or direct permission? Are there any conditional access or device compliance policies affecting macOS sign-ins? I suggest checking site access via M365 groups because direct permissions often miss inherited access and cause silent failures. I also suggest resetting OneDrive client and re-linking with correct tenant because cached tokens often break sync on Mac.
