Project Title Design and Implementation of a Central Core for 6AM Mart Source Code using the Strangler Fig Approach (Migration to Microservices Architecture) 6AM Mart System Overview The 6AM Mart source code is a complete multi-vendor marketplace and delivery platform that provides multiple services simultaneously. The system includes the following main modules: * Food * Grocery * Pharmacy * Parcel * Shop In addition to these modules, the system includes operational components such as: * Order Management * Payment Processing * User Management * Vendor Management * Delivery Management The system is accessed through: * Admin Panel * Vendor Panel * Customer Application * Delivery Application Current Platform Status * Backend: Laravel * Web: React * Mobile: Flutter The current architecture is monolithic, with an internal Core responsible for authentication, user management, and core business logic. This Core is tightly coupled with the domain logic, and the system includes heavy database structures and concurrent processing, indicating significant complexity. Therefore, the migration must follow a controlled approach using the Strangler Fig pattern, rather than a full system rewrite. This project is not limited to Core development only; it is a complete end-to-end solution, including: * System Integration * Deployment * Penetration Testing The system is currently deployed on a Hetzner server (Production environment), but it has not been launched yet and is in the pre-launch stage. The expected business launch is in approximately one month, and currently, there are no active users. Project Objective The goal of this project is to build the necessary infrastructure to transition the system into a true Microservices architecture. In this approach: * Shared components * Heavy processing components will be moved into a central Core, while other parts will be gradually separated into independent services. The ultimate goal is to transform the entire system into Microservices progressively, without introducing unnecessary complexity or disruption. Target Architecture In the new architecture: * A standalone Core will be developed outside of 6AM Mart * 6AM Mart will connect to this Core * The Core will act as the central hub of the system In this structure: * The internal Core of 6AM Mart must be disabled or removed * No disruption to the system is allowed * Modifications to 6AM Mart are allowed as needed, provided system functionality is not affected Detailed architecture, Microservices definition, Core requirements, API design, integration approach, and other technical aspects are fully described in the attached PDF. Database The current system uses MySQL, but we are in the process of migrating to PostgreSQL. Therefore, the Core and all new components must be designed and implemented based on PostgreSQL. Authentication All panels and applications must authenticate through the Core: * Admin * Vendor * User * Delivery System Requirements * Each module must be deployable on a separate server * The Core must operate independently * API traffic must not affect application performance * The system must support high load * Security must be fully implemented * Proper testing must be conducted to eliminate vulnerabilities * Future support and scalability must be considered For more details, refer to the attached PDF. Project Requirements * Core architecture documentation (service boundaries, API contracts) * Authentication system setup and integration with 6AM Mart * Initial Core structure implementation * Setup of development, testing, and staging environments * Roadmap for extracting additional modules Phase 1 & Phase 2 Scope Full details are provided in the PDF. The proposal must clearly specify: Phase 1 includes: * Core architecture design * Authentication implementation (Keycloak) * Migration of 6AM login system * User Service * Full integration with 6AM Mart * Staging & Production setup * Penetration testing * Performance optimization Phase 1 excludes: Phase 2 includes: * Gradual extraction of modules * Full Microservices transformation * Development of new services Source Code Access [login to view URL] References * [login to view URL] * CodeCanyon Timeline * Preferred duration: 2 to 3 weeks * Maximum acceptable duration: 4 to 5 weeks (including full testing) Any timeline beyond this will not be accepted. Freelancer Proposal Requirements After reviewing the project details, PDF, and source code, please submit a complete proposal including: * Phase 1 and Phase 2 cost * Delivery timeline for both phases * Support duration * Clear Phase 1 scope (what is included and what is not) * Estimated timeline and cost for future phases Selection Criteria * Proven experience in Microservices (mandatory) * Relevant project portfolio * Strong architectural understanding * Proper execution capability * On-time delivery Architecture quality and Microservices experience are more important than any other factor. Important Notes * There are specific questions in the PDF that must be answered in your proposal * Submit your proposal only after reviewing the PDF and source code * Proposals without proper review will not be considered Final Outcome After Phase 1, the system must be ready for initial production launch. Final Note Our primary focus is on proper execution, architectural quality, and timely delivery. Since the launch is planned in approximately one-month, accurate timeline commitment and high-quality implementation are critical. We look forward to receiving your detailed proposal. “A PDF file was uploaded when the project was created, and you can download it from the Files section. Hi, This is Elias from Miami. I checked your project description and understand you’re looking to design and implement a central core for 6AM Mart, migrating to a microservices architecture using the Strangler Fig approach. This is a crucial step for enhancing scalability and maintainability. I’ve worked on several similar platforms and understand the key technical challenges involved in such migrations. I would approach this project by first analyzing the existing architecture, then progressively refactoring components while ensuring minimal disruption. I have a few questions to get a better understanding: Q1 – What specific user roles and permissions do you envision for the new system? Q2 – Are there any existing integrations or APIs that we need to consider during the migration? Q3 – How do you plan to handle data consistency and integrity during the transition? I’d be happy to go through the details and suggest the best technical approach. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Adel, I’ve reviewed the 6AM Mart migration to microservices via Strangler Fig. I will design a standalone Core outside 6AM Mart, with secure Keycloak-based authentication, PostgreSQL-first data models, and modular services that can run on separate servers. The plan is incremental: start by replacing the monolith’s core auth and user services, establish robust API contracts, and set up staging/production with proper security, testing, and performance tuning. Phase 1 delivers the Core architecture, Core auth integration, and migration of login and user services, plus end-to-end integration with 6AM Mart and a hardened staging environment, then pen-testing and performance optimizations. Phase 2 will progressively extract modules toward true microservices. I will ensure zero disruption to existing flows, maintain data integrity during migration, and prepare a scalable roadmap for PostgreSQL-based services. What are the critical security and data governance constraints we must honor in the Core authentication layer? Which modules should take priority for Phase 1 extraction beyond login and user services? Do you have preferred service boundaries, API standards (REST/gRPC), or event-driven messaging choices (Kafka/RabbitMQ)? What is the preferred approach for database migration—lift-and-shift of existing MySQL structures to PostgreSQL, or a phased re-architecture per service? Are there any non-functional requirements we should emphasize first (latency targets, error budg

Biggest risk in this migration is replacing the tightly-coupled Laravel core and moving authentication without breaking live API contracts across React, Flutter, and admin/vendor flows—especially under a pre-launch one-month constraint where any auth or order-path regression can block production release. I would introduce an external Core service around Keycloak for identity, with an API gateway preserving current contracts while gradually strangling legacy endpoints. Laravel monolith stays stable while routing shifts via adapter services and feature-flagged endpoints. PostgreSQL migration uses dual-write/read strategy with schema parity checks to prevent drift. Staging mirrors production for safe cutovers, with integrated penetration testing before rollout. I’ve implemented similar distributed API migrations in Bubbl (Laravel/Nuxt SaaS) improving API latency by 35% and Aras backend systems with zero-downtime refactors under heavy traffic. Ready to align architecture with your PDF and ensure Phase 1 is production-safe and reversible at every step. Phase 1: $8,000–$12,000 | Phase 2: $15,000–$25,000 | Support: 60–90 days post-launch Q1: Which specific endpoints in the current Core are most critical and must remain stable during strangler routing? Q2: Do you already have a preferred API gateway standard (or should we introduce one alongside Keycloak)? Q3: What is the expected cutover strategy for disabling the internal Core—hard switch or gradual deprecation per module?

Good to see this project, I will deliver the Phase 1 Core — Keycloak-based authentication, User Service, API gateway, and full integration with 6AM Mart — following the Strangler Fig pattern so the monolith keeps running while each service is extracted behind a façade. For the migration, I will introduce an anti-corruption layer between the new Core and 6AM Mart's existing Laravel backend. This layer translates requests so both systems coexist during transition, and it gives you a kill switch to route traffic back to the monolith instantly if anything breaks in production — critical given your one-month launch window. Questions: 1) How far along is the MySQL-to-PostgreSQL migration — is the schema already converted, or will Phase 1 need to handle dual-database reads? Looking forward to your response. Best regards, Kamran

Hi there, I have read your project requirement. You need to transform your existing 6AM Mart monolithic system into a scalable microservices architecture using the Strangler Fig approach, including building a centralized Core (with Keycloak authentication), PostgreSQL migration, system integration, and production-ready deployment without disrupting current functionality. We can design and implement a robust Core architecture, decouple critical services, integrate authentication across all panels, and prepare the system for gradual microservices extraction. The solution will include clean API contracts, staging/production environments, performance optimization, and security testing aligned with your launch timeline. A few questions to clarify before proceeding: =================================== Do you prefer containerized deployment (Docker) or direct VM-based services for Phase 1? Should we include an API Gateway layer (Kong/Nginx) in the initial setup? Do you want event-driven architecture (Kafka/RabbitMQ) introduced in Phase 1 or later? Which module should be prioritized first for extraction in Phase 2? Best Regards, Srashtasoft Team

Read your brief carefully and this is right in my wheelhouse. The 6AM Mart system's current monolithic architecture and the plan to migrate to a microservices architecture using the Strangler Fig approach is a complex task that requires careful planning and execution, and I've worked on a similar project where I had to refactor a legacy e-commerce platform to a service-oriented architecture. The fact that the system includes multiple modules such as Food, Grocery, and Pharmacy, and that you're migrating from MySQL to PostgreSQL, indicates a significant undertaking. I noticed that the project requires building a standalone Core that will act as the central hub of the system, and that all panels and applications must authenticate through this Core. What's the expected timeline for completing the migration to PostgreSQL, and how will it impact the development of the new Core. Let's discuss how I can help with this project. Happy to share more about my approach — just send me a message.
