DF-1 Protocol Functions (Stage 2 - Modbus)

Using Microchip 18F6627, compatible with 18F6880 and 18F87J11

Software to be Hitech C

No Software, Licenses, or Hardware will be provided.

DF1 using SLC Typed Messaged, both Read and Write must be supported.

All parameters must be configurable in variables inside the code.

These variables should be possible to be set via DF-1

Must contain 128 Words of INT Data, where 64 can be messaged to, and 64 may be messaged from.

These should be in global variable arrays, N41[64], N42[64]

Settings should be in a file which may be read/written to via DF1 N40 Array (as many as needed)

Boolean files should also be supported, B43[32] and B44[33]

Master must include all settings in the config array.

4 function calls should exist, 1 for each file (N41[64] to write) for example.

Stage 2:

Modbus RTU Master, and Modbus RTU Slave.

This is not to be included in the price, but the programmer must be aware that this will follow.

Other requirements:

Proposal and flow chart must be provided before coding begins.

All code must be in english, and well commented in english.

Milestones must be sent for review.

Code must be tested before completion and a NCR (Non Compliance Report) may follow before final payment.

If code is well written, efficient and documented, many more will follow (both in expanding features on protocol implementations, plus new protocol support for DeviceNet).

Non conforming submissions are welcome (in features and price)

Please provide expected completion date.

To ensure that bidders are aware of the protocol involved, I have attached the Protocol and Command Set Reference Manual for DF1
Prototyping of the code written will be done on one of these.
