The front camera in a vehicle senses various objective categories. Our concept is to mark different target vehicles with a defined distance and if the host vehicle crosses the particular distance, the driver will be warned and collision chances will be avoided.
Without using ADAS ECU, we can combine camera, ultrasonic sensor and raspberry pi to
capture and detect target and precise distance between host and target to avoid collision.
It just warns the driver, and the drive has to manually adjust the brakes.
It is cost-effective and also implements simple cars without the ADAS functionality.
