Target operating environment (design direction; full hardening can be a later phase) Corrosion-resistant stainless construction; capable across roughly −50 °C to +125 °C; compatible with humid/wash-down and low-pressure (vacuum) conditions. Magnet grade to be chosen for thermal stability (e.g. SmCo or high-temp NdFeB). Deliverables 1. Concept design + electromagnetic FEA (thrust vs. displacement, pull-out force, air-gap sensitivity) 2. Short rotordynamics / critical-speed analysis for the 3 m shaft 3. Mechanical design package: CAD, drawings, BOM 4. A working physical prototype demonstrating stroke, load and contactless operation 5. Test report against the specs above 6.
