I am looking to asses the optical heating of several nano size metals in a plasmonic Si on SiO2 waveguide due to illumination intensities of 0.1uW to 1mW vs time. The illumination on the metal comes from within the Si waveguide (the power in the waveguide is being absorbed by the metal).
After assessing it, I would like to see how the metal temperature effects the propagation constant of a mode inside a Si waveguide.
