Long-Term Mechanical Design Expert Needed

I’m setting up an ongoing collaboration with a seasoned mechanical design specialist who can jump in whenever new projects hit my desk. Most assignments revolve around translating product concepts into manufacturable parts—solid CAD models, detailed drawings and the occasional design iteration to tighten tolerances or reduce cost. What matters to me is consistency and availability over the long haul. If you’re comfortable taking rough sketches or functional requirements and turning them into clean, production-ready designs, we’ll get along well. I typically work in SolidWorks, but can accommodate other mainstream CAD platforms if that’s your preference. Every task will come with clear objectives, reference files, and deadlines. In return I’ll expect native CAD files, properly structured assemblies and a short design note explaining critical decisions. Once we establish a smooth workflow, I see this turning into a steady stream of work rather than one-off gigs.
