MATLAB-Identify vortexes and track their movement with time

So the project is to load the above file into matlab and we will get a graph then after dat write a code in matlab to track the vortexes and their movement across time.. The file attached has series of data relating to fluid flow, with vectors showing direction of movement, and the project is to identify vortexes in the data and track their movement across time. This isn't a fluid dynamics project as such, it is the sort of computation used in a variety of software applications to analyse real-world data (optical tracking, for example) and will probably be best done in Matlab. Please find the data file attached, and an associated picture of what the visualisation of drho looks like. Remember, the first two lines in the data file are header information and can be removed before attempting to load the file into MATLAB The file is a two-dimensional array of data of size 512x140.
