Develop pseudo-code to reflect the process developed in a scientific paper

This project is a capability test. We may select multiple qualified contractors to produce the same deliverable, then select one or more groups to proceed to the next step.

We are interested in having a contractor develop the following algorithm within MATLAB:

Probability Functions on Complex Pedigrees

C. Cannings, E. A. Thompson and M. H. Skolnick

Advances in Applied Probability

The first deliverable will be a written narrative explaining the methodology employed by this paper, as well as a detailed pseudo-code breakdown of the algorithm's operation. Based on successful completion of the project, we will commission another project to actually develop the final algorithm within MATLAB.
