Hi, I’m a Senior Electronics/PCB Engineer with 12+ years of experience and 25+ custom multilayer ESP32/STM32 boards delivered, including 20+ four-layer designs and 40+ production-ready packages. I’ve also delivered 6 production motor-control boards up to 48 V/15 A with field failure rates below 2%, with strong focus on DFM, power integrity, grounding, and EMI. Approach: ✅ I will review the schematic and PCB together, verifying power rails, ESP32 strapping, USB-C, LiPo charging, protection, decoupling, and critical net connectivity. ✅ I will inspect ESP32-WROOM placement, antenna keep-out, return paths, routing geometry, ground planes, via stitching, and noise-sensitive sections. ✅ I will audit footprints, component clearances, assembly constraints, DRC/ERC results, and manufacturer-specific DFM requirements, then implement all required corrections. ✅ I will return the corrected project files with the design fully checked and manufacturing-ready. Questions: ✅ Can you provide the complete schematic, PCB source files, BOM, and target PCB manufacturer/fabrication rules? ✅ Which ESP32-WROOM variant and USB-C/LiPo charger IC are used, and are there any known issues already observed? ✅ Do you require a final DFM/DRC verification report along with the corrected files? Best, Yaroslav

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can review the board as a pre-manufacturing design audit and, importantly, make the required corrections rather than simply sending you a list of problems. I’ll cross-check the schematic against the actual PCB implementation, then review placement and routing with particular attention to the ESP32-WROOM antenna keep-out, power/ground return paths, USB-C implementation, LiPo charging/protection, decoupling, footprints and manufacturability. Passing DRC is useful, but it doesn’t guarantee the board will behave correctly or assemble reliably. My review will cover: • Schematic-to-PCB connectivity and component values • ESP32 placement, RF clearance and grounding • USB-C/data/power implementation • LiPo charger and power-path design • Regulators, decoupling and current paths • Footprints, polarity and assembly clearances • Trace widths, vias, clearances and return paths • DFM/manufacturing risks beyond standard DRC I’ll then implement the necessary fixes, run the appropriate checks again, and return the corrected native project files ready for manufacturing. If you provide the schematic, PCB, BOM and component information, I can begin with a structured design review and identify the highest-risk areas first.

✅✅✅✅✅ I can review the board at the level needed before manufacturing and, importantly, I’ll make the required corrections rather than simply sending you a list of problems. I’d review the schematic, PCB and BOM together so electrical intent, footprints and physical implementation all agree. For the ESP32-WROOM, I’ll pay particular attention to antenna keepout, ground-plane treatment, placement and nearby copper/routing. I’ll also inspect the USB-C interface, LiPo charging/power path, decoupling, grounding, power distribution and protection. The review will also cover: • Footprint/pinout verification against datasheets • Trace widths, clearances, vias and thermal considerations • Manufacturing/DFM issues beyond basic DRC • Component orientation and assembly considerations • Schematic-to-PCB consistency • Final ERC/DRC and manufacturing-readiness checks I’ll then implement the necessary fixes and return the corrected editable project files, with a concise summary of what was changed and why. If you send the schematic, PCB layout, BOM and preferred manufacturer, I can start by checking the highest-risk areas first and work through the board systematically.

Hello, I have read your post. I am a Chinese embedded hardware engineer with 8 years of PCB design and review experience. I have designed and fixed many ESP32 boards, including WROOM and WROVER modules, so I know the common mistakes that DRC does not catch. I will check your schematic and layout against the ESP32 hardware design guidelines, not just DRC rules. Key things I look at: antenna keep-out area and placement near board edge, USB-C CC resistor connections, LiPo charger thermal pad soldering, power trace widths and return paths, decoupling capacitor placement near ESP32 power pins, and footprint matching against actual component datasheets. I will also check DFM issues like silkscreen overlap, via tenting, and minimum solder mask sliver for JLCPCB or your target fab. After review, I will fix every issue I find directly in the project files and send back the corrected version. You will get a short report listing what I changed and why. I will run DRC again after fixes to confirm everything still passes. Two relevant examples: an ESP32 battery-powered sensor board I designed and fixed for manufacturing, where I corrected antenna clearance and charger layout issues. Another is a USB-C powered ESP32 board with LiPo backup, built at JLCPCB with zero DFM problems. I can share screenshots on request.

Hello, I can review the complete ESP32 board and make the required corrections directly in the project files, not just provide a list of issues. For this type of board, the most important checks are usually not DRC-related: ESP32-WROOM antenna keep-out and placement, return-current paths, USB-C CC/ESD implementation, LiPo charger thermal/current design, regulator stability, decoupling, grounding, footprint accuracy, and manufacturability. I have experience designing and debugging ESP32-based PCBs, including USB, battery-powered circuits, power regulation, communication interfaces, and boards prepared for prototype/production assembly. I will review: - Schematic and component selection - ESP32 RF/antenna area* USB-C and charging circuit - Power integrity and grounding - PCB routing and stack-up considerations - Footprints, polarity, pin mapping and BOM - DFM/assembly risks I can then correct the schematic/layout and return manufacturing-ready project files. If you send the design files, I can first inspect the critical ESP32, USB-C, charging and power sections and discuss any major risks with you. Best regards, Nichita
