Magento Cart Issue

Having some issues with our shopping cart. Some users are not able to go from the cart page to the onepage checkout. Seems that when customers click 'Proceed to checkout' it just kicks them back to the cart page. Looking for someone who is knowledgeable that can fix this issue quickly.
