Magento SSL Jun 05 2012 13:09:33

I'm trying to fix a bug on a multi-region site that currently works fine with onestep checkout. If i turn on SSL, the checkout redirect breaks (details below). The SSL cert is installation is not an issue, because SSL already works fine on the admin backend. (The secure base url is already set to [url removed, login to view] and works fine.)

The Onestepcheckout installation was configured by someone else, so I don't know what may have been customized (if anything, I don't have access tot the original extension).

Here's how it behaves currently:

With SSL off:

clicking checkout from<region>/checkout/cart/

redirects to<region>/onestepcheckout/

works great, now display on checkout page.

Then, if i turn on SSL for the front end:

clicking checkout from<region>/checkout/cart/

now redirects to

[url removed, login to view]

which displays the message:

"Shopping Cart is Empty

You have no items in your shopping cart.

I think this will be a quick fix for someone already familiar with the OneStepCheckout extension.

Thanks in advance for your serious bids.
