Background: We are in the final stages of developing a logo for our Professional Services Firm. We have developed a logo internally that most of our team is happy with. However, even though our core business is designing and delivering technology solutions, we feel that the text of the logo feels a bit "techie". We would like the logo "refinished" to give it a more distinguished and established look and feel. Requirements: Redesign text elements of existing logo to provide a more "distinguished and established look and feel". The designer will be given freedom to experiment with colors. However, a successful design and color scheme will be corporate in style. The designer must provide the complete logo as vector artwork in a high quality jpeg, .eps and a .psd (compatible with versions as early as Adobe Photoshop 7). Provided Materials: Original vector artwork will be provided to the winning designer in .eps, .psd, and freehand formats. Timeframe for delivery: The winning designer will provide all deliverables by 12:00 AM Saturday, February 9, 2008. Additional Notes: Please see below for examples of logos that represent our preferences: Ernst & Young : [url removed, login to view] Ameriprise: [url removed, login to view] Accenture: [url removed, login to view] Raymond James: [url removed, login to view] Lydian Wealth Management: [url removed, login to view] We desperately want to stay away from the Web 2.0 style logos that typically employ gradient fills and overuse of gloss effects. The winning designer will redesign the text elements of our logo to be clean but with some subtle unique feature (such as something as simple as the slight change of the "y" in belyea: [url removed, login to view]).
