Amend Algerian Bill of Lading -- 2

A container of titanium dioxide destined for EURL Master Plast has been idle at Alger Port since May 2025. Because the factory can no longer finance the clearance, the consignee on the Bill of Lading must be replaced with a new buyer. I need a local company with proven customs-brokerage expertise to step in, deal directly with the shipping line, liaise with the Alger Port customs officer, and coordinate with the original consignee so the B/L can be amended without jeopardising the shipment or incurring further storage penalties. All conversations will be in French or Arabic; the paperwork remains in English. I will provide the original B/L, commercial invoice, packing list and the new buyer’s details once we start. Deliverables (to close the job successfully): • Written confirmation from the shipping company accepting the consignee change • Approved amendment from Alger Port customs showing the new consignee on the B/L • Scanned copy of the re-issued B/L and any supporting customs documents Professional indemnity, a current brokerage licence and on-the-ground access to Alger Port are essential. Timing is critical, so please indicate how quickly you can obtain the amendment once the documents are in your hands.
