1. Purpose
The purpose is to manage a service provider's customer base and technical infrastructure in a
relational database. It should also have API's and use API's to interconnect with other system to
automate service creation / service parametrisation etc. The main customer type is a internet user
using the infrastructure of a Internet Service Provider but the system should be extendable to
many other use cases such as VoiceOverIP, SMS, IP-TV etc.
2. Requirement
The system should be running on Linux with MariaDB (MySQL) and PHP7 . On the user side it has
to work with any browser on any operating system. API's should also allow use from mobile
applications and integration with future other systems. The system uses a minimalist approach
when it comes to the browser side. It should use only a minimal amount of JavaScript for form
checking. It should be able to run without JavaScript if possible. It can not load any resources from
any 3rd party sites. It must be 100% self hosted. So fonts, scripts, CSS etc. must all be delivered
from the same servers. The application might be hosted on a internal server without connectivity to
the outer internet. All parametrization must go through the server so if the server configures any
equipment it will do so by sending commands from the server to devices, not from the client. The
system must be built with redundancy and security in mind.
