I would like to create triggers in MYSQL databases in a shared hosting environment. In order to use TRIGGERS with MySQL 5.0.x, the users need the SUPER privileges. For security reasons, if is not recommended to grant this to regular database users. So, we do plan to upgrade to MySQL 5.1 or 5.2 and it will be a simple matter of enabling the TRIGGER privilege per-user.
Can you upgrade our little CentOS 5.5 server from mysql 5.0.x to mysql [url removed, login to view] or mysql 5.2.x ? You are the man.
The database server is managing about 20 JOOMLA sites.
PLESK 9.5.2 is installed as web hosting system for our customers.

At first I need some information: How many databases you have in you existing mysql? Only install? Not data transfer?
