On 14 Oct 2017, I was attempting to transfer 114,500 AMEX points to Emirates Airlines. Due to an error on AMEX's part (systems issues), I got a massive run around for almost a month, ~17 attempts to do the transfer, 10-15 phone calls to them, Emirates and other card providers adding up to 5-10 hours of my time, and stress as I had flights on hold. Ultimately they also stuffed up the amount of points and transferred 25k more than they were asked to. What I need is someone who I can speak to who will listen to the full story and write up a complaint letter asking for compensation. I would like someone proactive who can interview me, asking all the right questions, then draft up the letter and make reference to the appropriate laws and terms and conditions etc.
