API Data Integration to MySQL/PostgreSQL

Job Description:
We need scripts and processes to ingest data from a REST API ([login to view URL]) into MySQL/PostgreSQL tables. Please review the API documentation from the link above and reply with your preliminary questions. We anticipate this project being in two phases.
Phase 1) API sample ingest and table schema creation:
You will make the preliminary API calls and review the returned JSON. You will create a database schema for the data produced, and we will inspect/correct it with our operational knowledge of the data itself.
Phase 2) API Scripts & Database Ingest
You will create the scripts needed, including instruction files, for us to perform the maintenance and allow us the ability to customize parameters as required, and give us the ability to run the processes self-service. You will setup the database tables (likely AWS (MySQL or PostgreSQL), but open to your recommendation on alternative Cloud-based database structure)
The final output of this project will be:
1) Cloud-database design to hold the various tables and data retrieved from the REST-API ([login to view URL])
2) A process that allows us to customize parameters on an as-needed basis and execute the scripts to pull data requested from the API and ingest into our database tables
3) A process that will allow us to automate nightly runs of the API calls to refresh the databases

Attached is our explanation of the requirements to the best of our ability, including anticipated database tables created, sample CURL requests, and sample JSON responses.
