PSD to Joomla or Drupal with JW player and forum

Overview

To slice from PSD (Photoshop) to XHTML Transitional W3C Valid and then build into EITHER Joomla or Drupal CMS.

Important note about your chosen CMS

It's important to know that my client does not know anything about HTML.

If you're using Joomla, please only use modules. This makes it easier to make changes on the back end.

I have never used Drupal, but have heard it's excellent. Please explain the benefits with your bid.

More detail about the project

-

Homepage - JW Player: The website will be using the flash XML version of JW player ([url removed, login to view]). Using the CMS you must have the ability to upload: (a) Video or Audio (FLV, WAV or MP3) - (b) Thumbnail (c) Large image (d) Title (e) Description with a word count.

Homepage - Footer bar

The footer bar should sit on top of the JW flash player as shown in the design. It should also have the following:

(1) The ability to edit the title and text for the about column.

(2) All e-mails submitted to the newsletter field should be added to a Mail Chimp account ([url removed, login to view]).

(3) The ability to edit the title and text for the social networking column.

About - Text which appears next to movie clapper

The titles and text should be easily editable without the need of knowing HTML.

About - Polaroid rows

(1) The ability to add new rows.

(2) The ability to order the rows.

(3) The ability to edit: (a) Picture (b) Title (c) Text (d) Add / edit delete new links.

Forum

I would like to keep the forum as simple as possible with the flexibility to add to it later. I am happy for you to use an open source forum and skin it to my design. The forum you choose must be well known, secure and easy to manage on the back-end. I will work with you to adapt the design to the forum you have chosen GRANTED it doesn't change my design too much or take away any of the features I have included.

Contact

A simple contact form. All text, titles and field titles should be editable. All error messages for the form are provided in the PSD design.

This website will be an on-going project. If you are chosen, I will be using you to complete the updates in the future and add new pages. If you do a good job, I will also be using you on other projects on a regular basis. Please consider this when placing your bid.

Terms of the project

-

1) You must have VAST experience in developing websites for Joomla or Drupal.

2) Providers will only be considered if they are 2 hours ahead or 2 hours behind UK GMT time. This is to ensure project efficiency.

3) The project must be completed in the time specified.

4) You agree to amend the project until my client is satisfied.

4) Your communication must be regular via Skype or MSN.

5) You must speak excellent English.

6) Payment via the Escrow system on GAF.

7) An impressive portfolio must be submitted with your bid.

8) When awarded the project, you agree to accept the project via your GAF account before beginning work.

9) Please bid with a SHORT personal message. Those that have copied and pasted a generic reply won’t be considered.

10) You will be given access to the FTP upon winning the bid and provided with any relevant files.
