Write some Software

I know just enough to be dangerous. 7-12 years ago I took training and did some programming with VB 4.0 on a 4-5 different projects and then later with VBA on several different MS Office projects. I became certified MCSE for Windows - I ran the IT dept for a small 60 employee company from 2007 - 2009. I have been entirely out of the IT Tech stream of consciousness since 2010. I have had an idea for a project for a long time now and I am now committing to see it completed. Several years ago I spent quite a bit of time to complete about 1/4 of what is necessary in web design and Javascript programming (even though I know nada about Javascript and not a heck of a lot about CSS) I need someone to do this but I want to be in a position of understanding what is transpiring with the code - so good commenting is essential and some type of user friendly naming of objects and variables is necessary. Please no lines of code that look like Egyptian alphabet soup. I will want and need explanations, so be apprised, questions and answers relating to the code you provide, will be a required part of this process. Users logging in to my webpage will redirect to a page where your code will allow them either establish or choose an existing discussion. They press a button or checkbox to enter a particular chat/discussion room. Once transported into that room they will need to see some sort of icon+Text for each participant, (JSmith let's say). Other participants in the chat room will see the same including the entry of the newly added incoming person. Checkboxes next to each participant icon will change the oovoo display split screen or single screen such that the user determines which participant(s) in the room he is paying attention to! Also checkbox/button to display all participants in the room After looking over oovoo website I believe this is all part of the available capability. I also need code that plays an audio file for both a fixed period of time and code that plays an audio file until a user presses a button to stop the audio file. If someone dominates by speaking too long - an alarm! I will want you to get this project to be running on the server, preferable to the code being executed locally. It's my understanding that Javascript can now be run server side! With node.js Yes?? I want to start First with the oovoo portion of this project as it is the most unusual part of the project. That is what this posting is for, the successful working oovoo integration and the audio file playing code. Upon successful completion I will then negotiate with you or repost for the remaining portion of this project which among other things will include, secure user logon development, Database creation, code for data input and data retrieval and display, calculations of data, other user input driven actionable code.
