Need Temp/Freelancer for Software Engineer for Digital Marketing Company Create, build and maintain software solutions using a variety of modern technologies. Invent flexible solutions to challenging technical problems that are adaptable and scalable to future business needs. Diagnose, debug and solve issues on current production platforms. Collaborate with and participate in necessary code reviews with both internal and overseas team to ensure a high quality product. Enthusiastically pursue additional training and understanding of new, relevant technologies. Provide advice and recommendations pertaining to the usage of new technologies. Contribute to all aspects of the software creation process: Software architecture Object-oriented development Unit testing/test-driven development Integration testing Deployment Maintenance Post-deployment production support and troubleshooting Strong knowledge of MEAN stack (MongoDB, ExpressJS, AngularJS, Node.js). At least 3x Portfolio of MEAN stack development project(s) executed within the past 2 years - Portfolio may include school / internship projects (MongoDB, [login to view URL] Angular.js, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3). Strong knowledge of HTML CSS JS, including: Bootstrap 4.0 jQuery Critical Render Path / Page Optimisation Experience in Wordpress development Theme development / maintenance Plugin development / maintenance Creation / modification of Wp Templates WP Rest API Custom Post types CRUD WP global admin settings Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline. Expertise in Git. High degree of competency in core software development concepts. Ability to translate technical information to the non-technical, and likewise, to translate non-technical speak into code. Project management skills, attention to details, and ability to stay on task. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong analytical, problem solving and diagnostic skills. Securely access FTP / SFTP and perform updates Knowledge in Server Administration (Linux) Software / application Setup system updates Command line Basic knowledge in Shell scripting Plan out workflows, site architecture / features along with documentations Basic knowledge of sitemap, wireframe, web design Plan out website testings Basic knowledge in Networking Basic in-office IT support knowledge Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) Experience working with open-source analytics platforms
