I am looking for a variety of skilled programmers to help me in my journey as an IT Instructor. My job is to help and train developers from scratch. I am currently working for a company which takes in bright graduates (mainly) and trains them on intensive boot camps of around 10 weeks. I love training others and I love my job. I just would like some support from other programmers in my own personal walk and development as a coder, so I can challenge and develop myself and also learn when I get stuck, and also have other fellow coders with whom I can bounce off questions. Also, with best practice, I want to be able to have a community of people that I can ask the right questions and get guidance, help and support and correction to correct my own coding errors. Also, I need help with the use of modern technologies such as GitHub.
Here are the technical details and the areas that I am likely to need help and support in.
.NET core - this is my primary role.
Entity core - using databases.
ASP.NET core - using and building websites and best practice.
.NET authentication which I am completely clueless about.
GitHub best practices
Deployment of websites to various platforms.
Use of docker and containers.
Use of Azure and AzureCli
Use of Powershell and Bash command-line tools.
Use of PHP and MySQL
Use of SQL
Use of modern 'no-SQL' databases like Mongo.
Use of 'easy-to-use' databases like Firebase.
Use of Linux and Linux deployment eg to Digital Ocean and other hosting platforms.
AWS basics eg S3 static bucket and other simple AWS things (I'm a pretty much brand new starter to AWS)
How to secure API keys - this has been a real gaping hole in my knowledge. Several times I have pushed API keys to GitHub and it's a real weakness. I would really appreciate some proper help and tuition on this subject.
Just general guidance on my overall programming code. I have a GitHub repo and I would like some help and guidance by people going through my repo and pointing out errors. It's at philanderson888. I have a particularly large one called 'c-sharp' which I just need help and support on.
Various programming boring admin tasks, maybe which I can do but would like help to finish or accomplish due to lack of time on my part.
Creating and updating my teaching notes - I am a voracious creator of content, particularly programming content. So I require help to go through the content I have created and help manage it.
VueJS as I have studied this quite a bit and built some testing sites very well. I am confused by the new developments with Vue-Cli3 as it causes some breaking changes to the code which was working but now won't work and I'm not sure how to fix.
React front-end development (low priority at the moment and I haven't really started in React yet but would dearly love to)
Wordpress as everybody loves a Wordpress site and I have a friend with whom I am building some sites for real. For example [login to view URL] I built from scratch. It's really super slow so any tips on fixing this and Wordpress, in general, would be appreciated.
I am also a deeply committed born-again Christian who loves God with all of my heart, mind, and soul. I would love to work with any like-minded believers and develop a strong bond in the Lord. Please express this in your reply if you feel drawn to this statement. Thank you :)
With rates of pay, I am thinking around $8 to $10 an hour for your hard and kind work. However am willing to consider lower rates of pay perhaps for more mundane work, and also higher rates of pay for real high-quality help in order to fix problems and really advance my career, and provide timely and clear help for problems that I may be facing.
Final thing is to build a community and also to get help to become part of developer communities online to find fixes to problems quickly when I have a need.
God bless and happy coding!
