Job Description:
I need a calculator to use in WordPress using JS.
I want to be able to add a start date and an "amount increase per second." I want the script to calculate the difference from the start date to the current time and increment the number per second on the page. So it will look like a ticker constantly growing based on that start date. Please also add a way for me to prefix and suffix around the number... so it would say something like: "you've saved XX since you started" XX would be the calculation.
I don't want this to be overly complicated. It's essentially a way to show the savings per second on a project since its inception date.
I will hard code the start date and the number to increase per second (please comment the vars).
So let's say, I put the start date to the current date and time and my starting number was 10, in 5 seconds, I want the number to be 50, automatically "tick" to 60 in 6 seconds, etc.
