So, when the bookmarklet button is pressed within the browser, I need a seperate window to appear and within that window the user will see:
Images from the page, the page title, the page URL and the price of a product in that page if there is one.
I have attached an image of a similar functionality at [url removed, login to view] - I need almost an exact replica of that, although for completely different reasons.
Important issue is speed, if you try the Amazon button, or one from Pinterest you will notice that they are almost instant.
Quite a simple project and can probably be reverse engineered to an extent.
Many thanks for looking.
A user click on bookmarklet link which opens the js popup.
The code in the popup firstly checks that a user is logged in (cookie check), if not, the popup shows username and password fields which when data entered performs the log in check. If log in incorrect show error if not proceed as below.
When the user is logged in the popup shows images from the page chosen with a radio button to allow the user to choose an image. Also shown is the page URL, page title and price of the item if there is one (this will likely be £ or $) - the popup also shows a drop down showing choices of where the info can be added, the drop down is populated with a list of lists previously created by the user.
A user can then click an ADD button which then adds the data to a mysql db on the site and then the popup shows a success message with a "close" link.
