Hi there,
I am searching for an awesome frontend-developer (react, gatsby) to work with. NOT only for this starter-project, BUT LONG-TERM.
This here is a SMALL starter-project to elaborate if we are a good fit. Good to know: I am a developer myself (specialist on meteorjs and gatsby) - so when collaborating with you I will have a look at the codebase from time to time. I have high standards: High quality, use of best-practises and easy to maintain code is very important to me.
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
It is a mini-project that starts with 2 pages:
1) Main Landing-Page
2) Interview-Teaser Page
THE DESIGN (GUIDE-TEMPLATE)
We have 2 guide-templates that we’ll reference to. IMPORTANT: I will provide you with the sources of those “guide-templates“. They are written in gatsby/react/styled-components. BUT I do NOT like their codebase by the way (a lot of duplicate code and NOT making use of the benefits of styled-components. I prefer Sass/Less anyway so a designer can quickly make changes).
Link to guide-templates:
The design itself is to look look EXACTLY like this “guide-template #1“ here (including animations): [login to view URL]
There is also “guide-template #2”: [login to view URL], which we will use some elements from (p.e. Faq and Testimonials)
THE LAYOUT:
I will provide you with a wireframe/mockup layout as PDF. It contains the text and the basic layout, BUT NO design. Your job is to put it into the style of the “guide-template”. Of course I’ll refer to the sections in our guide-templates.
Those are the pages that need to be implemented:
1) Landing-Page #1(root-url "/") - basically like “guide-template #1” - with some minor modifications)
2) Landing-Page #2 (root-url "/two") - with very little layout based on the components of “Landing-Page #1“
3) And there will some 2 ugly ultrasimple pages to show in the footer (imprint and data-policy).
THE TECHNOLOGY:
As said above: I am a developer myself and want this to be high-quality. This is why I am getting into some details here:
* use [login to view URL] latest version
* use Gatsby BEST-PRACTISES in general (seo, images, link, etc)
* make SEO compatible (with easy to use SEO-Component and [login to view URL])
* load images via gatsby images best practices `gatsby-image`
* make sure that website works in all main browsers (chrome, firefox, safari, edge, opera and internet explorer 9+)
* abstract sections into components
* use main css based on bootstrap 4 (with sass or less, so that designed can easily work on css files)
* use npm react packages as needed
* I will provide you with a video-player component to use (and maybe some snippets for the [login to view URL])
* nice and clean code
* push code to a git repository which I will create and give you write access to
THE COMPONENTS
A quick brainstorm of the components that the page(s) will include (in the look of “guide-template #1”)
* Hero red (see “Main Top“-section “guide-template #1”)
* Hero white (see “Main Top“-section “guide-template #1” but with white/black layout)
* Product Screenshots (see “Product Screenshots“-section “guide-template #1”)
* Features (see “PRODUCT COMPARISON”-section “guide-template #1”)
* About us (similar to “Meet our business partner“-section “guide-template #1”)
* Subscribe our newsletter (see “Subscribe our newsletter“-section “guide-template #1”)
* TESTIMONIAL (see “TESTIMONIAL“-section “guide-template #2”)
* This here is a little test: Please reply to me starting with “I am a gatsby-rockstar, ...“ to show me that you actually read this.
* FAQ (see FREQUENT QUESTION“-section “guide-template #2”)
Are you interested in working on this?
How fast can you deliver? What is your price for this project?
P.S.
If things turn out well I have more work to do in future.
Hi,
I am very much interested, please contact me and give me details, plus the sources for the 2 templates you discussed in the project description.
Regards
ZH
