For a web app we need the weight of a package from within the browser on the local usb port. We are using the Dymo S50 Shipping Scale (USB). At some point during the process a button press should read out the weight from the scale. There is a Python example availabe ([login to view URL]) We need a Javascript function to read out the weight from the USB port local (not from the server). Direct read from USB is prevented in browsers with js, so a work around with node.js or other library is needed (eg: [login to view URL])
