I need a software that allows you to add a "timer" to a video file that displays a value and counts down to zero, along with text and/or graphics (image files).
For the "timer":
You need to be able to select where you want to place this timer on the video, and how long the timer will last (what value/time it counts down from). So if you select 30 seconds, the timer pops up, will be set to 30 seconds and begins counting down. When the timer reaches 0, it disappears.
I need this to be clean and easy to apply to the video, and be able to add more than one of these per video file. Preferably, when you load the video file, I'd like a "time line" to be displayed below the video file so you know the exact time(s) to add the timer and what values to set it to.
Also, I'd like to be able to add this timer to the bottom of the video, whether in a bottom corner or along the bottom of the video. I've included examples of each of these here:
-- Bottom corner of the video: [url removed, login to view]
-- Along the bottom of the video: [url removed, login to view]
(In the pictures above, the text next to the timer can either be editable text or an image file.)
In addition to the "timer" displayed on the video, you'll also need to be able to add text or images, which appear beside the timer. The images/text appear alongside the timer, and disappear when the timer runs out (as does the timer itself).
For the text, you'll need to be able to change font size, color, font style, and possible effects (like fade in, fade out, etc).
After adding the timer(s) and images/text to the video file, I'd like to be able to preview the video before creating the finished file to see what the video will look like with the effects (timer, font, image) added in.
I want a clean interface for the software – if you specialize in creating confusing and convoluted interfaces and features then please, please do not bid on this project.
In addition to the software being created, I might need you on the hook for updates, and we can talk about that and work a deal out later about this as well.
If this sounds up your alley then here is what I want you to do when you reply to this project to bid on it:
1) The first thing I want you to do when you reply is to show me software you've developed before so I can see how clean-looking the interfaces are.
2) Then, the second thing is to give your estimation on how long it would take to get a beta version of this plugin working.
3) The third thing is I want you to sell me on how good you are so I know you're the right person for the job. Explain what you're going to use to create this and why.
One last thing: I expect an email once per day updating me on the progress you're making if I do select you. If that's a deal killer for you, please don't bid on this project.
