I need twelve Android users to help me measure how my app affects battery life during heavy, real-world use over a 14-day window. The sole focus is performance, specifically battery usage when the phone is under high-usage pressure—think continuous video streaming, navigation, gaming, or other power-hungry tasks. What you’ll do • Install the latest build from Google Play (link provided after hire). • Use the app for at least two hours each day while your device is already running another intensive activity. • Capture screen recordings or annotated screenshots that show battery percentage at the start and end of every session. • Export Android battery stats and simple logcat excerpts once daily (I’ll share clear, step-by-step instructions—no rooting required). Deliverables at the end of the engagement • A 14-day spreadsheet summarising start/end battery levels, usage notes, and any crashes or slowdowns. • The raw battery-stats files and logcat snippets you collected. • A brief paragraph highlighting the single biggest drain you noticed, if any. Basic requirements • Android 10 or higher. • Reliable Wi-Fi or mobile data to download builds and sync logs. • Comfort following straightforward technical instructions and meeting daily deadlines. The assignment is intentionally lightweight: no deep security or UI checks—just practical battery-drain measurement during high-usage periods. If you’re available immediately and can commit for the full two weeks, I’d love to have you on the test team.
