Project to build receive message from ibm mq

I'm senior java developer. Also I have my team of java developers. In past we built projects with WildFly/Java 8/CDI/Hibernate/Maven. However we used ApacheMQ. We also hd experience with Glassfish/Payara/WebLogic and JMS. Also experienced XML/XSD/JAXB in conjunction. Also XSLT. Our recent experience is more about functional style with technologies: java8/RxJava/Vertx.

Have many years of exp with different message queues. Hope the requirement is to communicate with MQ ie sending and receiving the messages and storing the messages to the DB.

I have worked on similar task involving RabbitMQ and Spring Framework and same details in MySQL DB. So it should be straight forward to do this using IBM MQ
