There is an exiting perl script, that makes a Java job run on my Ubuntu machine.
However, somehow I don't manage to make it run (on a daily basis) via cronjob.
So the 'only' thing you need to do: make the cronjob run.
I have worked as server admin for big names like [login to view URL] and server centre.net. Over 8yrs exp working cpanel and plesk servers. Can fix cron troubles for you. Let me know.

Hello!. Usually cron task must be run under specific user. I had this problem. perl executioner is not present in user cause you don't have assigned path to it. variable in PATH= is missing.
