The project should have its own custom tag library and Maven should be configured to compile your JSP files into bytecode (.class) files during the build process, making your project self-contained and ensuring it can execute JSPs independently of a servlet container.

A working example of a Java maven project having some jsp.

The maven project should compile the jsp to .class files.

the jsp should contain tag lib

maven version is 38.4
