Possibly could lead to other work on our bigger java projects. Please do not bid if you can not work on this "live" remotely on my windows system. But this job is just to make small modification to a small one-file java script. (java 1.8 i think) Basically you will add code to check for existence of a file, and if it exists you will skip other steps and if it does not exist you will check to see if everything else in the filename is the "same" except for the SHA1 hash of the file, written into the name of the file. If the file the script is attempting to Copy over already exists in the directory (ie all the other characters of file name are exactly the same EXCEPT for the SHA1 hash, example [login to view URL] and new file [login to view URL] is attempting to be copied over), then the script should MOVE the older version of the file ie [login to view URL] to the OLD subdirectory when copying the new version to the main directory. That's basically it, one extra optional nice step maybe would be to create yet another subdirectory inside OLD like OLD\myabc_hashremoved_rest_of_file_name\ and put all the different versions of that file inside OLD\myabc_hashremoved_rest_of_file_name\ subdirectory. Once you login remotely to my windows and see the code it will become very clear. I think the info provided is enough to be able to provide a BID for the modification. I even had some example "pseudo-code" of just a few lines I had written which I'll give to the winning bidder.
