I am a new directx programmer. Unfortunately, I am starting by learning directx 12. I am struggling with what should be simple tasks in any other version of directx. The project I am working on requires directx 12, so I must learn how to do things. This bug is an example of one I can't get past at the moment, and I have duplicated it in a sample project from GitHub.
I need to get past a bug when updating a texture dynamically. At the moment, the error I am getting is that a resource has been deleted when attempting the update. I am sure it has to do with the texture I am updating, but I see no way around it since I am replacing it. I am basing my code on the D3D12HelloTexture project in the D3D12HelloWorld solution located on GitHub:

For a programmer familiar with directx 12, there should be a simple fix in order to update the texture. The texture should update when pressing the 'M' key down. I will attach the project. Get the full solution at GitHub first, then drop my project into the directory to debug.
