The intonation game
The computer violin teacher plays a tone followed by the student who tries to copy the note.
The students note will be either higher or lower than the teachers. Teacher = player, needs to tell the student whether the note was high, low or perfect
Beginner, intermediate and advanced will be based on note lengths. Beginner notes can sound for 2 seconds quickly followed by the second note which could also sound for 2 seconds.
Intermediate can sound for 1 second with 1 second of silence followed by the second tone.
Advanced could be a 120BPM length note followed by a longer silence then the second note lasting the same.
Levels within beginner, Intermediate, and advanced will be based on distance between pitches. In other words as they progress to higher levels the tones will be closer and closer together. The player only advances to the next level when they get all the right answers in the sequence. The sequences should sound random notes within maximum 3 octaves.
High scores should be remembered. About 6 violin students to choose from. 3 male and 3 female young to adult.
