Hello there,
I have a bachelor's degree in Linguistics, minoring in Japanese language. I have been studying Japanese for almost six years. After graduating from the university in 2011, I immediately worked as a Japanese-English Translator and Proofreader in a Japanese translation company based in Argentina. The documents we handled covered a wide range of topics (tourism, medical, academic, IT, etc.) and types (press releases, website content, brochures, manuals, etc.). I currently work as a freelance translator to further improve my translation skills. I continue to study Japanese during my spare time in order to gain a deeper understanding of the language.
The laptop I use for translation work is equipped with CAT tools, such as Memsource and Xbench, to ensure consistency in terms and styles used throughout the documents. I plan to utilize them fully in order to deliver quality translation to clients. If I receive the job, I plan to asses the work need to be done, negotiate a deadline, and adjust my schedule accordingly. Should there any be rush translation work, I will try my very best to accomplish it within the given time.
I have worked 5 years as a freelance translator, until I joined Detarget Translations W., Argentina, in 2016, so I put forward the idea of using this profile to contact new customers from all over the world.
Please do contact me should you wish to inquire more details. Thank you very much and I look forward to hear from you soon.
