For an Italian youth organization I need some quotes to develop a "Treasure Hunt" mobile app for kids, with AR capabilities, with the scope to let play kids in open environments under supervised events. (target age: 10-18 y.o.)
Currently I have designed the layouts of the logic that is expected from the app. You can find these attached.
Budget for this is provided by private donors and public funds. The app is going to be free to use and no in-app purchases are going to be present.
For more info I am available to answer any question.
Ideally the best candidate(s) should have experience with delivering a finished app and would be available for hire for future updates.
1- load a photo cover with the title of the app
3- menu with buttons to: start a new game (no load/save option needed), ranking, personal profile.
4- Ranking page shows a list of usernames that completed the game sorted by ascending best time.
6- a new game page starts with a roadmap, every milestone is indicated by the name of the challenge and a red flag, clicking on each one allows the kid to start that challenge.
7- every challenge page is just a bunch of text with some indications about where to find the clue. The clue is a qrcode printed on paper and secretly positioned by the organizers of the association.
7.1- The kids need to find the qr code, once they find it they click on the "scan the code" button in order to activate the camera, they scan the code to see some AR virtual 3D model doing a basic animation/motion.
7.2- Once they scanned it they can go back to the app and mark the challenge as completed with the button "mark as found".
7.3- OPTIONAL: It would be good to have a logic that disables this button if the qr code was not scanned first. However, this is not critical, the users are kids, so even if some cheat it doesn't matter.
7.4- flagging the challenge as completed, the app returns to the roadmap, the flag of the completed challenge is now green.
8- Once all the challenges have been completed the app shows the user a endgame page celebrating "victory" and timestamping the time the kid took to complete the game. This time will need to be shown in the ranking page from this moment on.
8.1- a button to take a screenshot of the "victory" page, to invite the kid to share it with its friends.
