Ionic iOS FCM Push notification Setup

I have an Ionic Cordova app running on iOS and I need Firebase Cloud Messaging fully wired so the app can receive and handle push notifications reliably. Firebase is only partially configured at the moment—the project exists in the console, and some initial SDK work is in place, but notifications have not yet made it from the Firebase dashboard to a test device. Your task is to complete the entire iOS notification flow: link the app with my APNs keys, finish the Firebase configuration inside the project, install or update any required Cordova plugins, and prove that a message sent from the Firebase console lands on an iPhone in both foreground and background states. If troubleshooting requires adjustments in Xcode, provisioning profiles, or the Apple Developer portal, please handle that as well. I’ll know the job is done when a sample notification arrives on my test device and opens the correct screen in the app. Any code changes should be committed with clear comments so I can follow the logic later.
