Be aware, we are looking for more of an individual to work with, not a software development company. \r\n \r\n=== The Jr. Social Media Specialist Role:\r\n \r\nThink Around Corners (TAC) is in need of a knowledgeable Freelance SEM/PPC Specialist for these tasks:\r\n \r\n=== AUDIT/ANALYSIS/STRATEGY: Examination of current SEM campaigns, as well as new SEM opportunities.\r\n--- SEM audit of entire website for keyword relevance and alignment (as well as past historical success)\r\n--- Good-Great Keyword Research capabilities - that guide our content and PPC strategies\r\n--- Examine current SEM campaigns - traffic, engagement, conversion - and discover opportunities\r\n--- Local SEM Analysis and Strategy - what works on a local level?\r\n--- Leverage competitor research\r\n--- Solid understanding of Information Architecture\r\n--- Working knowledge of many SEM programs (Ahrefs, SpyFu, SEMRush, etc.)\r\n \r\n=== SETUP + CUSTOMIZATION: Setup of SEM across all platforms, kickstart of content, and setup of analytics tracking.\r\n--- Setup/Validation of entire SEM campaigns in Google AdWords\r\n--- Examination of paid advertising budgets\r\n--- Initial monitoring and \'tweaking\' of SEM efforts\r\n \r\n=== MANAGEMENT/TESTING/REPORTING: Continual testing and reporting of SEM data, as well as ongoing suggestions on future search campaigns.\r\n--- Supervising PPC account structure and health\r\n--- Improve SEM Quality Score over time, thereby lowering ad costs\r\n--- Ongoing and continual tracking and testing of current SEM initiatives\r\n--- Ongoing on-site/content optimization of existing landing pages (landing page alignment)\r\n--- Be involved in client meetings (as a support role)\r\n--- Potential training of clients on content marketing\r\n--- Writing of engaging ad copy\r\n \r\n=== ANALYTICS AND REPORTING: The ever-important need to understand the past efforts of the team.\r\n--- Reporting on SEM Strategy (one-time/client)\r\n--- Reporting on ongoing performance (EOW and EOM) both successes and failures\r\n--- Ranking Reports (to demonstrate SEM success)\r\n--- Ongoing and continual tracking and testing of current SEM initiatives and Campaigns (and ROI)\r\n--- Understand how SEM content is visualized/reported upon in Google Analytics (GA)\r\n--- Understanding modern demographics, psychographics, geograpics, and behavioral segmentation\r\n \r\n=== SOFT SKILLS (important!)\r\n--- Project estimation skills and accountability\r\n--- Everyone says it, but you must be a great - not good - communicator\r\n--- A bit of training on the job can be compensated for, but you must be willing to learn -- and there is a lot to learn.\r\n \r\nPay is on a per-project basis. A future part-time or even a full-time position is a possibility. We\'re looking for smarts and ambition to add to our team.
