We sell compatible fibre optic transceivers and related networking products and I'm looking to relaunch our website ([login to view URL]) in order to boost sales. I'm looking for a Digital Project Manager to deliver a revised eCommerce website on a contract basis. I am looking for someone who can: Analyse the site in its current state: • Is it impactful? (site relevance to visitor search string, layout, graphics, use of colour, messaging) • Is the visitor journey optimised? (ease and speed of search, informative and interactive, call to actions, easy and fast to place orders) • Does the site cross sell/up sell well? (navigation, content, layout, follow up) Actions: • Rewrite and revise the website brief • Break the brief down and outsource the major elements of the brief • Identify developers (shortlisting, interviewing and selection) on freelance, PPH, freelance to complete certain segments • Pick the best developers for our brief/platform/experience • Build a project plan to include all the major milestones and each person’s contribution • Instruct the developer and manage the delivery of each agreed milestone • Include SEO audit and ensured it is incorporated into the new site • Help validate and debug at each stage of development Recruitment and training: • Identify and develop the team to deliver and maintain site for relaunch and in the long-term. Train Miles (Web & IT support) and others to use the new site and undertake daily, weekly and yearly tasks in order to maintain site. Just finished going through your site, here are some suggestions. Your product funnel is very long and there isn't a good call to action at the end. You should lesson the category clicks and combine like products with varying specifications onto a single page. Right now you have just listed all of the varying specifications in a table. It would be more effective if you had selectable options in a drop down. Magento does this very well, just two clicks and then I get to narrow in on the product of my choice. I suggest that you list the MSRP or something on the products, and then advertise special rates for approved vendors. Magento can provide you with the ability to set specific pricing for customer groups and individual customers. This way people can get a ballpark price and then contact you for their rates. You can pick up a nice looking theme and have Magento installed and ready for less than $100. You then will want to manually transfer and reorganize your products into a very intuitive structure. You have Google Analytics installed, but do you do not have the Ecommerce tracking, Demographics, Interests, Tagging and Goals in place to truly track where your customers are coming from, who they are, what they're doing and which marketing channel is driving the most conversions. Whether you're selling or not you should always have a Premium SSL certificate, Comodo Anti-virus Seal and many other credible badges. There's lots to talk about if you want to hear more.
