Word and PDF production documents into Thinkific is straightforward work, and the value is almost entirely in the decisions made while migrating rather than in the copying itself. The first is structure. A curriculum written as a document has a natural shape -- chapters, sections, headings -- but that shape rarely maps one-to-one onto good course structure. Lessons that run too long lose completion; lessons chopped too small feel like busywork. So part of this job is deciding where a document section becomes one lesson versus three, and that is worth agreeing with you rather than me guessing. The second is what happens to formatting. Pasting from Word carries invisible styling that makes a Thinkific course look subtly wrong and inconsistent from lesson to lesson. Content should be brought in clean and restyled to one system, or the course reads as assembled rather than produced. Third, and easy to forget at migration time: drip scheduling, prerequisites and completion rules. If the course is meant to be taken in order, or content released over weeks, that has to be configured deliberately -- retrofitting it after students have enrolled is messy. Worth confirming: do you have video content to attach to lessons, and is there any quiz or assessment in the material?
