I have already validated a scalloped-rim concept that tames uncontrolled pouring and stops the tell-tale dribble most cups leave on the table. Early CAD files and several 3D-printed mock-ups confirm the idea works, but I now need a ceramic-savvy industrial designer to transform this proof of concept into a production-ready product. Here is where the project stands: • Research and user interviews pinpointed two core pain points: uncontrolled pouring and post-pour dripping. • A scalloped rim prototype shows clear improvement. • CAD models (SolidWorks) and STL test prints are available. What I want next: 1. Ergonomic refinement of the cup body and handle so the form feels natural in a range of hand sizes while maintaining our ceramic wall thickness constraints. 2. Detailed production CAD: native SolidWorks (or compatible) files plus STEP files ready for slip-casting or press-mould ceramics manufacturing. 3. Manufacturing drawings that call out tolerances, shrinkage allowances, and glaze-safe radii. 4. Two rounds of design iteration, each supported by quick 3D prints, to verify that the cup pours cleanly at 95 % success across typical fill levels. 5. Final photorealistic KeyShot (or similar) renders for marketing and crowdfunding use. Acceptance will be based on side-by-side pour tests—no visible drip on the cup exterior—along with clean, error-free files that any ceramic factory can work from without modification.
