Hello I can give you a prototype of the scent cartridge/media system along with the scent release device. The cartridges will be mounted in a carousel and depending on the program which will contain the number of active scents along with their relative percentage release, will allow the scents to be made available. There are 2 parts to this system - the mechanical as well as the electronic , which includes the programming of the released scents. For example, say you want to create a master scent called "floral garden". You can have : a) 3 cartridges of pine, mint and herbs each b) 3 cartridges of rose, ylang ylang and wildflower, c) and 3 cartridges of orange, lemon, and melon Obviously the fruits will not be used by the program, but 20% of the group (a) will be mixed along with 80% of group (b) to create the effect. So what you can offer is a wide range of cartridges and paid-for scent mix programs. The cartridges are the physical objects while the mixing program is the digital download. Depending on the program, the system will work. When not in use, the 'opened' cartridges will self-seal and not release any fragrance. Otherwise they will remain sealed until 'opened' by the release device. You can also add subtle lighting to the release device to add to the mood.
