I am creating a coloring book to help bring recognition to a threaten species of owls. I am a photographer and I have several photos of the owls. My concept is to display my colored photo on the left side page and then have a graphic rendition of that photo on the right side page in a format that can be colored. The photo page would also have some text about the owls (facts for children). The back cover page of the book would have narratives about the non-profit organization's support the owls, could have something about the illustrator and would have my information. A significant amount of the profit from the sale of the book would be donated to the non-profit organization. I have tried to convert the photos myself, which the software does a nice job - but typically the result is too detailed to lend it for coloring and may not be pleasing to children.
